Our Union...

IAFF Local #1052 represents the 53 men and women employed as professional Firefighters and Paramedics by the city of Richland. Our local was originally established on April 18th, 1950.

The Fire Department covers 33 1/4 square miles of Benton County and provides Fire Suppression, Rescue, and EMS services to a resident population of roughly 36,500 people. We also provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical services to the city of West Richland which extends our coverage an additional 44 square miles, and 8500 citizens.

Crews from the department's 3 stations responded to over 4,000 alarms last year.
